Let's do it world is one of the world's largest environmental networks, with active leaders and teams tackling the global waste problem in more than 160 countries. The flagship projects of lets do it september. On the day, let's do it, the world engages volunteers and partners to clean up litter and mismanaged waste from beaches, rivers, forest and community
. Let’s Do It World has a vision of a waste-free world. To achieve this vision we must carry out different kinds of activities—not just cleaning up, but also preventing waste from being produced in the first place, and managing the waste properly afterwards.

World Cleanup Day India
was introduced by Lets Do It India which is an organisation within the lets do it network since 2018, the first cleanup action took place in 2018 followed by 2019, 2020,and 2021, where India marked the history as the leading country for the largest cleanup in the world .
To move towards a waste-free world and survive as humankind we need everyone to contribute. The necessary shift towards sustainability can only be achieved by acting together through positive collaboration.
